When a state loaded with all possibilities of riots and conflicts in the name of caste, community and religion with the bitter history of Ram Mandir– Babri Masjid classhes, selecting a highly controversial person, who openly carries the flag of communal mentality, is nothing but a threat to the democratic India. Such a decision, once again reinforces the agenda of divisive politics, hatred and religious fundamentalism that has been spread throughout the country off-late. The most curious case is that of the so called “progressive and pragmatic” PM, who one one side talks about inclusive development to win election and on the other hand, nodes to such decisions.
