Tens of thousands of farmers in Maharasthtra started a long march from Nasik to protest against govt.‘s non-farmer friendly policies and to raise their demands under the aegis of of All India Kisan Sangh. This long march protest has seen about 50000farmer’s marching from Nasik to Mumbai. While BJP govt. and many of its representatives have tried to reduce this protest march to mere “red terror” by ignoring the pains and sufferings of the farmers in the nation, Maharashtra govt. has finally conceded to the demands of the farmers and agreed to fulfill those within six months. This united protests and rally has shown how common people’s strength and voice are still alive and can create an earthquake in the empires of fake promises and slogans.
