Like in many states consecutively, BJP has adopted all sorts of techniques and policies to form government in Karnataka. While they appeared to be the single largest party, Indian National Congress and JD(s) secular combinely had more numbers to form a govt. But, defying all such norms, Governor of Karnataka, who himself is a member of BJP has invited BJP to take oath. Simultaneously, there are allegations of horse trading against BJP. Interestingly, the logic of being single largest party has been defied by BJP themselves in other states,where they have used all forces to grab the power. Mockery of democracy has been a key feature under Modi government, who has come to power by voicing against corruption in 2014.
