One year of Demonetization along with other ‘highly praised’ economic reforms by the Modi Government has come under questions by many. While people in the bottom and middle half of the economic strata are yet to understand what these reforms are, they are the ones who has suffered most during the entire period. Hiking prices of essential commodities, LPG, petrol and diesel, medicines etc. are taking a toll on these people. The same people, who came to power with a promise to end all these caused by the previous government have seemingly been overlooking the same facts after coming to power. Common people are left within a pool of confusion, whether the ‘change’ is really happening for good or worst. But, the fact that is undeniable that the plight of these common is far away from being improved.
