Following the win in Tripura election, BJP and RSS supporters in the state have vandalized CPI(M) offices and bulldozed a statue of Lenin in Belonia. This showing of hatred and unethical practices by a democratic party raises a question on the ethics of the party.What makes it more astonishing that such acts of vandalism has been openly supported by top political leaders of the party in social media. Such acts by a political party,in a democracy can be nothing but harmful for the system itself. Silence from the so called ‘honest and civil’ netas like PM Modi on such issues indirectly reflects the mindset of the people ruling the nation.
