Latest examination conducted by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department of Assam has created an uproar in the state due to unethical practices in the examination hall as well as question paper scam. While we can criticize the loopholes and faults in the examination system by the department, we also need to question the mentallity of the candidates appearing in the examination. When common people themselves resort to dishonest practices, we compromise our position to question the corruption, fault and dishoneshty in the governmental system. Other way round, it is also equally a food for thought that is it the inefficiency and corruption in the govt’s machinary that is forcing us to do so?
