Zubeen Garg, the popular singer-artist of Assam, sparked a row of debate in the state by voicing strongly against animal sacrifice in Kamakhya. The artist, who has recently been sending various social messages to his followers in his events and performing shows, have said that no body should sacrifice an animal in front of god for his or her own benefit because, no god wants sacrifice. As usual, this has raised a lot of debate for and against animal sacrifice in the state.
